Winter Storm Watch
Statement as of 2:31 PM MST on March 01, 2015

... Winter Storm Watch in effect from Monday afternoon through
Tuesday afternoon...

The National Weather Service in Cheyenne has issued a Winter
Storm Watch... which is in effect from Monday afternoon through
Tuesday afternoon.

* Timing... snow will develop and become widespread Monday
afternoon.

* Total snow accumulations... 6 to 12 inches of snow possible with
the highest amounts across the Shirley... Ferris... and Seminole
mountains.

* Winds/visibility... southwest winds 5 to 15 mph Monday turning
northerly at 20 to 30 mph Monday night. The combination of
falling and blowing snow will reduce visibilities to less than a
half mile.

* Impacts... travel may become difficult due to falling... blowing
and drifting snow. Slippery and snow covered roads are likely.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Watch means there is a potential for significant
snow... sleet... or ice accumulations that may impact travel.
