Statement as of 10:20 PM EST on December 24, 2009 ... Freezing Rain Advisory remains in effect until noon EST Friday... A Freezing Rain Advisory remains in effect until noon EST Friday. Rain is expected to overspread the area during the late night or predawn hours. Surfaces temperatures could still be at... or slightly below... the freezing mark. As a result... rain may freeze on exposed surfaces. Ice accumulations should be less than a quarter of an inch. However... the strong winds may combine with the light ice accumulations to cause some tree limbs to break. Temperatures are expected to rise above the freezing mark by noon. A Freezing Rain Advisory means that periods of freezing rain or freezing drizzle will could travel difficulties. Be prepared. Untreated roads and walkways could be icy. Use extra caution.

	Wind Advisory
Statement as of 10:20 PM EST on December 24, 2009 ... Wind Advisory remains in effect until 4 PM EST Friday... A Wind Advisory remains in effect until 4 PM EST Friday. Sustained winds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts of 45 to 55 mph can be expected. The winds should mainly be from the southeast... but your terrain will cause local variations. The winds will be very elevation dependent... with exposed locations above 2500 feet elevation much more vulnerable to the highest wind gusts. However... tree damage and power outages may occur anywhere within the advisory area. Precautionary/preparedness actions... A Wind Advisory means that wind gusts of more than 45 mph are expected. Winds this strong can make driving difficult... especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution. Secure loose objects outside... around your home. Also... construction sites can be vulnerable locations.
