A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6 am EST
Thursday.
An area of low pressure will continue to intensify off the mid-
Atlantic coast overnight. Precipitation will continue across the
Potomac Highlands and temperatures across the higher elevations
will be cold enough for snow. One to two inches of snow is
expected across elevations above 3500 feet. Precipitation will
change to all rain Thursday morning as warmer air works its way
into the region.
A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... sleet... or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
