In West Virginia...Barbour...Boone...Braxton...Cabell...Calhoun... Clay...Doddridge...Fayette...Gilmer...Harrison...Jackson WV... Kanawha...Lewis...Lincoln...Logan...Mason...McDowell...Mingo... Nicholas...Pleasants...Pocahontas...Putnam...Raleigh... Randolph...Ritchie...Roane...Taylor...Tyler...Upshur...Wayne... Webster...Wirt...wood and Wyoming.

* rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected into tonight. In the muggy air...any shower could contain a downpour. The soil in many areas is wet from previous rain. If repetitive... or prolong...showers occur...flash flooding along small streams is possible. Rain amounts around 2 inches within a few hours would be a concern.

* Strong rises on some headwater rivers could also occur tonight into Saturday.

If you live along a small stream...monitor water levels during any heavier showers. Be prepared to take action...should flash flood warnings be issued or flooding is observed. County officials should also increase their weather awareness.
