Winter Weather Advisory
Statement as of 3:02 PM CST on March 02, 2015

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 3 am to 9 PM
CST Tuesday...

* expect snow to develop around 3 am Tuesday and then diminish
around 1 PM Tuesday. A wintry mix of snow... sleet and freezing
rain is possible across parts of northeast Iowa into far
southwest Wisconsin.

* The heaviest snowfall rates will occur between 6 am and noon
Tuesday.

* Total snow accumulations of 1 to 4 inches are expected... with
the heavier amounts along and north of Highway 29 across north
central Wisconsin.

* Winds gusting from 30 to 40 mph later Tuesday afternoon and
early Tuesday evening will cause widespread blowing and drifting
snow... especially in higher terrain... open country areas and on
ridge tops. Visibilities could drop to one mile or less at
times.

* Plan on slippery Road conditions Tuesday... with falling snow the
main problem during the morning commute... then blowing and
drifting snow with reduced visibilities during the evening
commute.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow and sleet means periods of
snow and sleet will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be
prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities... and
use caution while driving. The latest Road conditions for the
state you are calling from can be obtained by calling 5 1 1.
