Special Statement
Statement as of 6:04 AM CDT on July 04, 2015

... Areas of fog expected early this morning...

Areas of fog are expected across north-central Wisconsin early
this morning. The fog will reduce the visibility to less than 1/4
mile in places. Motorists traveling across north-central
Wisconsin should be alert for the possibility of encountering
patches of dense fog with very limited visibilities. If you
encounter a fog bank while driving... slow your vehicle to the
point where you will be able to safely stop if you encounter an
object or animal on the roadway. Always use low- beam headlights
in foggy conditions.

The fog was forming due to light winds in the wake of a cool
front that sagged south across northern Wisconsin Friday evening.
The visibility should improve between 800 am and 900 am.
