Areas of light rain and drizzle will continue across southern Wisconsin this evening. Also...temperatures are slowly falling and much of south central and southeast Wisconsin has already dropped into the mid and upper 30s. Nearly all of the area should be in the 30s by 10 PM CST. Until midnight more and more locations will see snow mixing in with the rain. Between 8 and 830 PM CST...snowflakes were observed as far east as Burlington...the weather office here in Sullivan...and The Dells. The snow was mixed with rain and melted upon contact. The transition to all snow will likely hold off until after midnight. Locations along and to the north of a line from Racine...to Waukesha...to Fond Du Lac will be the last to see the transition to snow. The best chance for any accumulating snowfall will be between midnight and 6 am CST...in areas to the south and west of a line from kenoshsa...to Madison...to The Dells. At this time...it appears accumulations will only be on elevated and grassy surfaces...and should largely remain under one inch.
Colder. Rain or snow in the evening...then periods of snow early in the morning. Snow accumulation around 1 inch. Lows in the lower 30s. Northwest winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation near 100 percent.
