	Public Information Statement
Statement as of 3:20 am CDT on October 14, 2008 A cold front moved across the area Monday evening. That caused temperatures to fall during the evening... so the only site which recorded a record warm low temperature for Monday was Sturgeon Bay. The low temperature at Sturgeon Bay on Monday October 13 was 61 degrees. The old record warm minimum was 58 set in 1997. The previous public information statement which listed new record warm low temperatures for Rhinelander... Antigo... Merrill... Stevens Point... and Appleton was incorrect. New records were not established at these stations because of the temperature drop that occurred during the evening. We regret any confusion the incorrect statement may have caused.
