Look for flurries across much of south central and southeast Wisconsin throughout the morning hours. Flurries will transition to light to moderate snow during the afternoon hours starting in western areas and progressing east. Little to no snow accumulation is expected through early afternoon. Accumulating snowfall is then expected mainly during the late afternoon and early evening hours with a general 1 to 2 inches with localized amounts of 3 inches. Roadways will likely become snow covered and slippery late this afternoon and early evening.

A weather system will swing across southern Wisconsin this afternoon and evening... bringing a good chance of accumulating snow to the region. A narrow swath of 1 to 2 inches with locally 3 inches is possible... roughly centered along a line stretching from Spring Green to Madison to Milwaukee. Amounts will taper off to the north and south of this area. The peak snowfall is expected between 4 PM and 10 PM this evening. Roads may become slippery in some locations. Stay tuned for later updates.
