Most of this region will have visibilities ranging from 1 to 3 miles... but patchy dense fog can be expected in some sheltered... low-lying areas. The visibility in these locations may drop below 1/4 mile at times... resulting in locally hazardous travel conditions.
Anyone traveling in northeast and east central Wisconsin this morning should be prepared for the fog... and plan accordingly. If you encounter a fog bank while driving on the Highway... use your low-beam headlights and slow down to a speed at which you can safely stop if you encounter an animal or object in the roadway.
