Special Statement
Statement as of 2:39 AM CDT on September 05, 2015

... Areas of dense fog near Lake Michigan through the early
morning...

Light winds off of Lake Michigan and moist air near the surface
has allowed areas of dense fog to develop near Lake Michigan
overnight. The dense fog is reducing the visibility to one quarter
mile or less.

Farther inland... the dense fog becomes more patchy and variable
from the inland Sheboygan area south to West Bend and Waukesha.

These conditions are expected to continue through 7 am CDT... then
improve through 9 am CDT. Patchy dense fog is expected to spread
toward the Racine... Kenosha and Burlington areas as well.

Early morning motorists should be prepared for rapidly changing
visibilities. Slow down should you drive into a thick fog bank.
