Jefferson Severe Watches & Warnings NOAA Weather Radio

Special Statement
Statement as of 9:21 PM CST on January 26, 2015

...Wintry mix beginning to diminish...

Look for pockets of light snow...interspersed with patchy freezing diminish from northwest to southeast over southern Wisconsin between 10 PM and 2 am. Expect scattered additional snow accumulations of a few tenths of an inch...mainly over southeast Wisconsin and far eastern sections of south central Wisconsin.

The additional light snow and patchy freezing drizzle will keep untreated roads and sidewalks slippery for the late evening into the early overnight hours.

Anyone venturing out late this evening into the early overnight should be alert for the potential of icy conditions and exercise caution. Surfaces that look wet may actually be glazed and slick...especially on bridges and ramps.
