... The Severe Thunderstorm Warning for central Okanogan County will
expire at 445 PM PDT...

the storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits... and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore the warning will be allowed to expire. However heavy rain
and localized flooding is still possible with this thunderstorm.

Flash Flood Warning
Statement as of 2:46 PM PDT on May 29, 2015

... The Flash Flood Warning remains in effect until 530 PM PDT for
north central Okanogan County...

At 244 PM PDT... Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing hail to the
size of quarters alnog with very heavy rain across the warned area. Up to one
inch of rain has already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.

These storms have intensified over the last hour and now contain hail up
to the size of quarters along with heavy rains.

Excessive rainfall over the warned area will cause mud slides near
steep terrain. The mud slide can consist of rock... mud... vegetation
and other loose materials.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Oroville and Nighthawk.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Take cover and move to higher ground now. Act quickly to protect your life.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.

* Flash Flood Warning for...
central Okanogan County in northeastern Washington...

* until 515 PM PDT

* at 212 PM PDT... Doppler radar indicated a thunderstorm producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Up to one inch of rain has
already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include... northern sections of
Winthrop... Memorial campground... flat campground and Falls Creek
campground... and extreme northern portions of the Carlton burn scar
northwest of Winthrop.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Move to higher ground now. Act quickly to protect your life.
