At 9 PM...scattered thunderstorms extended from near Shelton in Mason County northward to near Port Townsend in Jefferson County. Another cell was located just south of Darrington in Snohomish County. Movement of the storms is toward the northwest around 15 mph. Several of the storms over Kitsap and Mason counties will be impacting the higher terrain of the Olympic Mountains within the next hour. While little rainfall is expected with these storms...they will produce occasional lightning and brief gusty winds.
