... Snow levels will likely fall into the higher elevations of the Cascade foothills and the Coast Range over the next couple of days...
Snow levels will hover around 2500 feet this morning... and as low as 1500 feet Friday and Friday night. This may bring a dusting of snow to the highest part of the Cascade foothills and Upper Hood River Valley today... with possible accumulating snow by Friday. Even the higher elevations of the Coast Range could see some snow later Friday or Friday night.
If you are planning travel through the higher elevations over the next couple of days... be prepared for winter driving conditions and snow covered roads. Carry chains... extra clothing and provisions in your car. Hunters... hikers... and climbers should be prepared for winter weather.
