Statement as of 11:01 PM PST on November 09, 2009
... Winter Weather Advisory for snow remains in effect until 4 am
PST Tuesday for the west slopes of the northern and central
Cascades...
A Winter Weather Advisory for snow remains in effect until 4 am
Tuesday.
Showery weather will continue overnight... with an additional
1 to 4 inches of snow likely above the 3000 foot level. Thus
far... snowfall amounts of 1 to 5 inches have fallen since 6 PM.
A storm total of 4 to 9 inches is likely by sunrise... with
lesser amounts falling below the 4000 foot level.
The showers will taper off or become light Tuesday morning before
picking up again later in the day.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
Those planning travel in the advisory area should be prepared for
winter driving conditions. For the latest Road conditions... call
511 or 800-695-Road... or visit the Washington state Department of
Transportation web site at www.Wsdot.WA.Gov.
