... Snow levels will likely fall into the higher elevations of the Cascade foothills and the Coast Range this week...
Snow levels will possibly be as low as 2500 feet or so later tonight and Thursday morning... and between 1500 and 2500 feet later Thursday night and Friday. This will likely bring a dusting of snow to the Cascade foothills and Upper Hood River Valley on Wednesday night and Thursday... with possible accumulating snow by Friday. Even the higher elevations of the Coast Range could see some snow later Thursday and Friday.
If you are planning travel through the higher elevations this week... be prepared for winter driving conditions and snow covered roads. Carry chains... extra clothing and provisions in your car. Hunters... hikers... and climbers should be prepared for winter weather.
