    ... Flood Watch remains in effect through Sunday evening...

    The Flood Watch continues for

    * a portion of western Washington... including the following
    counties... King... Lewis... and Pierce.

    * Through Sunday evening

    * very warm weather will result in continued rapid snow melt and
    rising rivers. Crests may occur as early as overnight. River
    levels were up due to the recent rain. Before rivers were able
    to recede much... melting snow caused levels to rise again. The
    trend in the river forecasts were toward higher crests. However
    temperatures this weekend may be a little cooler than earlier
    predicted. Due to the uncertainty in the river forecasts... this
    situation will be monitored closely.

    * Any flooding that does occur will be minor. The rivers at most
    risk of flooding are the Snoqualmie... Puyallup... white...
    Nisqually and Cowlitz.

    A Flood Watch means conditions are favorable for flooding but
    flooding is not imminent or occurring. Monitor the weather and be
    ready to act quickly if flooding is observed or a warning is
    issued.
