... Very windy conditions are likely Monday and Monday night across
the north interior and along the Strait of Juan de Fuca...
A strong frontal system will slowly push through the coastal
waters late Sunday night and Monday then push onshore late Monday
evening. Winds aloft ahead of this front are expected to be very
strong. As some of this energy interacts with the
Olympics... strong southeast winds exceeding 40 mph and gusts to 60
mph may develop at the surface Monday and Monday night.
People in the northern interior of western Washington and along
the Strait of Juan de Fuca should monitor latest forecasts.
