...Wind Advisory in effect from 8 PM Saturday to 3 PM PDT Sunday...

The National Weather Service in Spokane has issued a Wind Advisory...which is in effect from 8 PM Saturday to 3 PM PDT Sunday.

* Winds...southwest 25 to 35 mph with gusts 40 to 50 mph.

* Timing...winds will begin to increase Saturday afternoon...the wind are then expected to peak between midnight and sunrise Sunday morning. The winds will begin to slowly dissipate through the day on Sunday

* impacts...light weight objects and tree branches may become flying objects. Vehicles traveling on area roadways should be prepared for strong and gusty winds. Power outages my be possible.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory means that winds of 30 to 40 mph are expected. Winds this strong can make driving difficult...especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
