... Strong thunderstorms will affect Addison... Chittenden... Clinton...
Essex... Franklin... Grand Isle... LaMoille and Washington counties...
At 450 PM EDT... strong thunderstorms were along a line from South
Hero to Shelburne Point to Shelburne to Basin Harbor... moving east at
20 mph.
Wind gusts to 40 mph and pea-sized hail are possible with these
storms. In addition... brief heavy downpours and frequent cloud to
ground lightning can be anticipated with this line of storms.
These storms will be near South Hero around 500 PM... Shelburne Falls
around 515 PM... East Georgia around 530 PM and Huntington around 545
PM. Boaters on Lake Champlain should seek safe Harbor due to
localized gusty winds and higher seas along with frequent cloud to
water lightning.
