The National Weather Service in Burlington has issued a wind
chill watch... which is in effect from late Friday night through
Sunday evening.

* Locations... all of northern New York... as well as central and
northern Vermont.

* Hazard types... dangerously low wind chill values.

* Wind chill readings... potentially 25 to 40 below at times
Saturday... Saturday night... and into Sunday... with northwest
winds 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

* Timing... all weekend.

* Impacts... potential frostbite and hypothermia.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...
