Doppler radar indicated that up to two inches of rain had fallen between Kingsport and Colonial Heights. These storms were moving slowly to the south at 5 to 10 mph... and will continue to produce very heavy rainfall in the advisory area. Additional rainfall amounts of one to two inches will be possible in the advisory area over the next hour or two. Precautionary/preparedness actions... Do not drive your vehicle into areas where the water covers the roadway. The water depth may be too great to allow your car to cross safely. Move to higher ground. Lat...
