Patchy dense fog will continue in valleys west of the Blue Ridge and Catoctin Mountain...including the Shenandoah Valley and I-81 corridor...western Maryland and the I-70 and I-68 corridors...and eastern West Virginia. Visibilities will be locally reduced to one quarter mile or less through the late morning hours...especially in low lying areas. Motorists should be prepared for rapid reductions in visibility. Use extra caution when traveling this morning by slowing down and using low beam headlights in fog.
