Winter Storm Warning in effect until 4 PM EST Wednesday... areas of light snow will continue across western Maryland...the northern and central Shenandoah Valley...and the eastern West Virginia Panhandle through early this afternoon. Snowfall accumulations up to one half inch are expected. Temperatures will remain in the teens and lower 20s. Winds will be light. Visibility will be locally reduced to under two mile in snow.

... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 4 PM EST
Wednesday...
A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 4 PM EST
Wednesday.
* Precipitation type... snow... mixed with sleet at times this
afternoon and evening.
* Accumulations... 5 to 10 inches of snow.
* Timing... snow will continue through Wednesday afternoon.
* Temperatures... temperatures will rise into the upper 20s and
lower 30s this afternoon. Temperatures will drop into the mid
20s tonight. Highs in the lower 30s Wednesday.
* Winds... light southeasterly winds today becoming north-
northwesterly 15 to 25 mph Wednesday.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of snow are
expected or occurring. The combination of snow and strong winds
will make travel very hazardous.
