National Weather Service Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms from Dundas to 32 miles southwest of Ebony... or from 9 miles east of Kenbridge to 5 miles northeast of Louisburg... moving northeast at 30 mph. The strong thunderstorms will be near... Meredithville around 1100 PM EST... Prices Mill around 1105 PM EST... Darvills around 1110 PM EST... White Plains around 1115 PM EST... Rawlings around 1120 PM EST... Warfield around 1125 PM EST... Expect very heavy rainfall with these storms. Rainfall rates of up to 2 inches per hour will cause ponding of water on roadways... and possible localized flooding in low lying and flood prone areas. In addition to the very heavy rainfall... winds of up to 45 mph are possible with these storms... as well as frequent lightning. If you hear thunder... you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
