Sub freezing temperatures have again allowed refreezing of slush and water on untreated roads and walkways... resulting in the development of patchy black ice... ice that is so clear and thin that it can not be easily seen. Travelers and pedestrians are advised to use caution by slowing down and remaining alert for slippery traveling surfaces.
