Statement as of 9:48 AM EST on November 15, 2009
... Coastal Flood Advisory in effect until 7 PM EST this evening...
The National Weather Service in Baltimore MD/Washington has
issued a coastal Flood Advisory... which is in effect until 7 PM
EST this evening.
Due to increased water levels continue across the Chesapeake Bay
and tidal Potomac from the recent coastal storm... along with the
lunar phase approaching new moon... expect positive tidal anomalies
up to two feet with minor coastal flooding at sensitive locations
in central portions of the tidal Potomac and along Anne Arundel County this
afternoon and evening.
