morning to 7 PM EST this evening...

* locations... Shenandoah Valley and north-central Virginia Blue
Ridge and foothills.

* Hazard types... a wintry mix of snow... sleet and freezing rain.

* Accumulations... snow and sleet accumulation of up to half
inch... along with less than a tenth inch ice.

* Timing... late this morning into the early evening.

* Impacts... roads may be snow and ice covered. Traveling will be
dangerous.
