The National Weather Service in Baltimore MD/Washington has issued a coastal Flood Advisory... which is in effect until 6 am EST Friday. A coastal Flood Watch remains in effect from Friday morning through late Friday night.
High tide late this afternoon is expected to cause minor tidal flooding along low lying areas. Particularly around Alexandria and Washington DC. Wisconsin Avenue river gage is expected to near 6 feet at high tide. Alexandrias river gage should rise to between 4.5 and 5 feet.
Tidal impacts will likely persist into the weekend during times of high tide.
