... Wind Advisory in effect from 6 am Wednesday to midnight EST
Wednesday night...
The National Weather Service in Blacksburg has issued a Wind
Advisory... which is in effect from 6 am Wednesday to midnight EST
Wednesday night.
Southeast winds will increase across the area Wednesday
morning... becoming strong during the day. Wind gusts to 50 mph
are likely at higher elevations... and on the northwest downstream
sides of the ridges.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Wind Advisory means that winds of 35 mph are expected. Winds
this strong can make driving difficult... especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
