A cluster of showers and thunderstorms across Fauquier County will track east...reaching the western suburbs of Washington DC from Rockville to Woodbridge by 6pm. Brief gusty winds to 30 mph and very heavy rain will be possible with the stronger storms. Locally... a quick half inch to one inch of rain will be possible... but most rainfall tallies will be a quarter inch or less.
