Statement as of 10:40 AM EST on November 15, 2009 The Flood Warning continues for the Blackwater river above Franklin * until late Wednesday night... or until the warning is cancelled. * At 10:00 am Sunday the stage was 13.6 feet * minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * Flood stage is 12.0 feet * forecast... the river will continue rising to near 13.8 feet by this evening. The river will fall below flood stage Wednesday before midnight. This river level is comparable to a previous crest of 12.6 feet on Apr 25 2008. 1040 am EST sun Nov 15 2009 ... Flood Warning extended until late Thursday night... the Flood Warning continues for the Nottoway River at Sebrell * until late Thursday night... or until the warning is cancelled. * At 10:15 am Sunday the stage was 15.9 feet * moderate flooding is forecast. * Flood stage is 16.0 feet * at 18.5 feet... Hancock Peanut mill is affected in Courtland. This river level is comparable to a previous crest of 16.7 feet on Apr 25 2008.
