Flood Warning extended until late Wednesday night... the Flood Warning continues for the Blackwater river above Franklin * until late Wednesday night... or until the warning is cancelled. * At 11:00 am Saturday the stage was 12.6 feet * minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * Flood stage is 12.0 feet * forecast... the river will continue rising to near 13.4 feet by tomorrow early afternoon. The river will fall below flood stage Wednesday evening. This river level is comparable to a previous crest of 12.6 feet on Apr 25 2008. 1131 am EST Sat Nov 14 2009 The Flood Warning continues for the Nottoway River at Sebrell * from Sunday morning until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled. * At 11:00 am Saturday the stage was 15.0 feet * minor flooding is forecast. * Flood stage is 16.0 feet * forecast... rise above flood stage by tomorrow morning and continue to rise to near 17.8 feet by Tuesday evening. * At 18.5 feet... Hancock Peanut mill is affected in Courtland. This river level is comparable to a previous crest of 16.7 feet on Apr 25 2008.
