Hazardous driving conditions are expected tonight into Friday
morning. The snow and sleet that fell across the area earlier
today will refreeze and become icy as temperatures fall into the
teens after midnight. Motorists should be alert for areas of black
ice on area roadways. Additionally... many secondary and rural roads
remain icy and snow-covered. Pump your brakes lightly to avoid
skidding and drive defensively. Allow for extra time to reach your
destination and avoid any sudden stops or accelerations.
