... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 11 PM MST this
evening...
A Winter Weather Advisory for snow remains in effect until 11 PM
MST this evening.
This advisory is for the southern Wasatch mountains... western
Uinta Mountains... Book Cliffs and central mountains.
Storm total accumulations of 5 to 11 inches can be expected through
late this evening.
The cold front that moved through the advisory area this afternoon.
Snow produced heavy snowfall through the Wasatch Range. This heavy
snow will move through the western Uinta Mountains... Wasatch
Plateau... Book Cliffs and central mountains late this afternoon
through this evening. Snow will gradually taper off from the
northwest during the evening... then end across most of the area
after midnight.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Winter Weather Advisory means that snow accumulations will
cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered
roads. Use caution while driving.
