... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 9 PM MST this
evening above 5500 feet...

* affected area... the San Rafael Swell and south-central Utah
above about 5500 feet.

* Snow accumulations... 4 to 8 inches by this evening... with up to
10 inches across south-central Utah.

* Timing... rain with snow above about 5500 feet will continue
through today before tapering off this evening.

* Snow levels... near 5500 feet. Possibly rising near or above 6000
feet for a time this morning.

* Impacts... snow will impact travel along portions of I-70 from
Fremont Junction eastward through Ghost Rocks... and along US-
89 north of Kanab.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that snow accumulations
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads. Use caution while driving.
