Scattered thunderstorms will continue to develop and drift across the central and southern mountains of Utah through 800 PM. These storms will move slowly and could produce locally heavy rain from I-70 extending south across the swell through Capitol Reef park and down to Lake Powell. This could result in flows through slot canyons and normally dry washes. The storms also could produce small hail...gusty winds...and cloud to ground lightning.
