Statement as of 11:19 AM MST on November 14, 2009
... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 11 PM MST this
evening...
A Winter Weather Advisory for snow remains in effect until 11 PM
MST this evening.
This advisory is for the southern Wasatch mountains... western
Uinta Mountains and Book Cliffs.
Storm total accumulations of 5 to 11 inches can be expected this
afternoon through late this evening.
A cold front will move through the advisory area early this
afternoon. Snow will increase in areal coverage and intensity
behind the front... with periods of heavy through early this
evening. Snow will gradually taper off during the evening... then
end across most of the area around midnight.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Winter Weather Advisory means that snow accumulations will
cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered
roads. Use caution while driving.
