The National Weather Service in Salt Lake City has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for snow... which is in effect until noon MST Friday.
A Winter Weather Advisory for snow is in effect for the central and southern mountains of Utah through 12 PM Friday.
6 to 9 inches of snow is expected to accumulate in these areas through 12 PM Friday. Travel conditions across the higher summits in these areas are expected to deteriorate rapidly overnight... especially Summit areas along UT 143... UT 150... and UT 12 near the Boulder Summit area. Motorists planning on traveling these roads late tonight through Friday morning should prepare for snow-packed roads and reduced visibilities.
