Between 430 am and 630 am...a band of showers and thunderstorms will continue to slowly move east across the Concho Valley... Heartland...and norther Edwards Plateau. The storms will contain occasional cloud to ground lightning and heavy rain. Through 630am... additional rainfall amounts of one half to one inch are likely with this band of showers and storms...though some locations could receive 1 to 2 inches. Some localized flooding may develop in low- lying areas and poor drainage places. Motorists should be alert for ponding of water on roads.
