A strong cold front will continue to push south through the northern and central South Plains through 12 PM. This includes the cities of Lubbock and Levelland. Ahead of the front...warm and moist conditions will persist with temperatures in the 60s and 70s. Behind the front...northerly winds of 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 35 mph will persist along with temperatures falling through 50s. In addition... scattered showers will continue to develop especially along and north of the cold front. Rainfall amounts will be light and less than one tenth of an inch.
