... Freeze watch remains in effect from late Monday night through Tuesday morning... A freeze watch remains in effect from late Monday night through Tuesday morning for the upper trans Pecos and much of the Permian Basin. Clear skies and light winds could allow temperatures to drop into the mid 20s to lower 30s late Monday night and Tuesday morning. Precautionary/preparedness actions... A freeze watch means sub-freezing temperatures are possible. These conditions could kill crops and other sensitive vegetation.
