Statement as of 8:51 AM CST on November 14, 2009 The Flood Warning continues for the Sulphur river near Naples. * Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled. * The Saturday morning estimated stage is 26.9 feet. * Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * Flood stage is 22 feet. * Forecast... the river will continue a slow fall of around a tenth of an inch per day through mid week next week. However... the river will remain above flood stage for at least another week due to backwater flooding from Lake Wright Patman.
