The Flood Warning continues for
the Beaver Creek near Electra.

* Until late Monday night... or until the warning is cancelled.

* At 10:00 PM Sunday the stage was 26.4 feet.

* Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.

* Flood stage is 24.0 feet.

* Forecast... the Beaver Creek will continue rising and crest near
26.7 feet early Monday morning. The Beaver Creek will fall below
flood stage late Monday evening.

* Impact... at 27.0 feet... widespread flood levels up to 3 feet in
depth cover farm and range lands... and may inundate some oil and
gas facilities... along and near the creek in southern Wilbarger
County and southwestern Wichita County.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Red River near Burkburnett.

* Until late Thursday night... or until the warning is cancelled.

* At 10:30 PM Sunday the stage was 10.1 feet.

* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* Flood stage is 9.0 feet.

* Forecast... the Red River will continue rising and crest near 11.7
feet early Tuesday morning. The Red River will fall below flood
stage Thursday evening.

* Impact... at 12.0 feet... crop and range lands... oil fields... and
rural roads are affected. Some low-lying areas near the river are
isolated by high water in side channels. Bottomlands near Davidson
Oklahoma begin to flood several hours before the crest approaches
the Burkburnett area. The flood crest reaches the area along the
river near Taylor Oklahoma several hours later. Cattle and other
property should be relocated to places which are 3 feet higher than
nearby river banks to avoid being stranded.

the Wichita river at Wichita Falls

* until Tuesday morning... or until the warning is cancelled.

* At 6:45 PM Sunday the stage was 21.3 feet.

* Moderate flooding is occurring.

* Flood stage is 18.0 feet.

* Forecast... the Wichita river has crested and will continue to fall.
The Wichita river will fall below flood stage early Tuesday
morning.

... Flash Flood Watch in effect through Monday evening...

The National Weather Service in Norman has expanded the

* Flash Flood Watch to include portions of southwest Oklahoma
and northern Texas... including the following areas... in
southwest Oklahoma... Tillman. In northern Texas... Archer...
Baylor... Wichita and Wilbarger.

* Through Monday evening

* mainly dry conditions are expected through sunrise Monday

* 1 to perhaps 2 inches of rain possible Monday with better
chances across southeast Oklahoma.

flooded areas... and make plans to get to higher ground if
flooding develops or worsens in your area.
