Scattered showers with isolated thunderstorms continue across the western and northern Concho Valley...Heartland and northern Edwards Plateau. Additional storms are expected to develop this afternoon...especially across the Northwest Hill country and Heartland. The stronger storms are capable of producing periods of moderate to heavy rainfall...strong gusty winds and dangerous cloud to ground lightning. Area motorists are urged to use caution as ponding on the roadways will be possible.
