Nowcast | as of 4:26 am MDT on July 30, 2015

At 422 am MDT...widespread showers and thunderstorms were tracking northwest across El Paso County and far western Hudspeth County. The majority of the activity was located from Socorro Texas northwest through Anthony Texas. These storms have the potential to produce heavy rainfall of one to two inches in an hour's time causing localized flash flooding. These storms are also capable of producing dangerous lightning and pea sized hail. Short-term flooding of low water crossings... arroyos and streams...and low- lying areas is also possible over any area with any storm this morning. If storms move toward your location stay safe by seeking shelter and moving out of flood prone areas. These rain showers and storms are expected to to continue over the next several hours.
