Southwest winds will develop and strengthen by early this afternoon... and will range from 25 to 35 mph through late afternoon. A few gusts may reach as high as 50 mph in the advisory area. The winds will subside during the evening. Precautionary/preparedness actions... A Wind Advisory means that sustained winds of 30 to 39 mph and/or wind gusts of 45 mph or greater are expected. Winds this strong can make driving difficult... especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
