Statement as of 4:09 AM CST on December 18, 2009 ... Dense fog advisory remains in effect until 9 am CST this morning... A dense fog advisory remains in effect until 9 am CST this morning. Areas of dense fog will limit visibilities across the advised area to less than one quarter mile at times. Fog will diminish rapidly after daybreak... when sunshine and dry northerly low level winds begin to mix the air. Precautionary/preparedness actions... A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down... use your headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead of you. |
