Winter Weather Advisory
Statement as of 3:02 PM CST on March 04, 2015

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until midnight CST
tonight...

* timing... snowfall is expected to continue through late this
evening though a few lulls may exist near sunset. Sleet across
the rolling plains should transition to snow late this afternoon
or early this evening.

* Main impact... light to occasionally moderate snow is expected
with an additional one to two inches of snow through late this
evening. Snow total accumulations are expected to range from one
to three inches.

* Other impacts... icy and snow covered roadways will result in
hazardous travel conditions. Furthermore... rather breezy north
winds may cause areas of blowing snow and restrict visibilities.
The cold air mass and breezy conditions will drop wind chill
values into the single digits from the far southern Texas
Panhandle into the central South Plains.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... sleet... or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
